Excavation of stairs from basement – Unity Home Improvement built out exterior stairs/entrance from the basement which really helped to expand my home’s functionality. Their quality of work and craftsmanship was outstanding! My basement now has egress stairs going out and it has a lot of sunlight coming in! I cannot overstate what a magnificent job Frank Andrade and his team did for my large exterior home renovation project. We did a full siding replacement, front and back porch rehab, some concrete work, and various other outside renovations over the span of about a month. Frank’s team did very high quality work, they were on time and diligent workers, and stuck to our original budget without pressuring us for additional work or ‘surprise’ expenses.

I want to emphasize the excellent quality of the actual work they performed on our home. But for us, the most important thing – and what really made the experience outstanding – was that Frank truly LISTENED to us at every step. He got all of the big stuff right, but he also listened and executed all of the small things that came up along the way. This was extremely important to me, as we were spending a lot of cash and wanted to get every little thing addressed properly and to our liking in one go around. We never felt rushed, and Frank was only honest and pleasant throughout the entire month.

Sr. Frank Andrade and his team did 2 major works. Transformed 1,200SF raised rambler, leaving only an old post/wall, into a 4,000SF 3 level living space w/ finished basement (fr. 2 full baths to 5 1/2). He foresaw the architectural miscalculation of stairs to basement. He not only avoided wastage (Labor & Materials), but made that part just as grand as the contiguous 2 door front entrance, foyer, both w/ cathedral ceiling. With foresight for the need, he initiated a concrete access to back of house along the side. Mutual trust and reasonableness- his initiative to do additions (though not specified in contract) and trusting we won’t free ride on the added L&M. The other house (1970)- remodeled MBR & bath; opened portion of 2nd floor to create a foyer with cathedral ceiling. Not much that Frank finished the basement (2 full bath 3 BRs) as his foresight to first change ALL sewer pipes up to the public sewer line (dug basement floor ). Meaning, worry free sewer lines for decades yet to come. Other work- patio repave, retaining wall, replace roofing w/ architectural shingles.
